Jim has been serving the San Diego and Chula Vista communities for many years, bringing a wealth of experience in property, casualty, and life insurance to clients across Southern California. His background includes working with both individuals and businesses to develop tailored insurance solutions that protect what matters most.
Jim earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and remains committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring his clients receive knowledgeable, up-to-date guidance. He is passionate about building long-term relationships based on trust, personal service, and community values — the core principles that guide Jim Hill Insurance Group.
A longtime resident of Chula Vista, Jim is proud to call Southern California home. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active in the local community, and supporting initiatives that strengthen the region he serves.
Ken Crain, CISR
Customer Service Manager
Ken has been part of Jim Hill Insurance Group for many years and brings over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. In 2001, he earned his Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and continues to expand his knowledge to better serve his clients. Ken is known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to helping individuals and businesses understand their insurance options with confidence.
A longtime resident of the San Diego area, Ken is proud to serve the community he calls home. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, following local sports, and traveling throughout Southern California.
Albert Meloni
Commercial Lines Agent
Albert joined Jim Hill Insurance Group in 2013 as a licensed agent, bringing more than 25 years of experience in both mortgage lending and insurance. His broad background allows him to provide clients with highly competitive options in commercial, auto, and life insurance.
Albert is especially passionate about client education, taking the time to explain coverage options so clients can make informed decisions and feel confident in their insurance policies. His approachable style and depth of knowledge make him a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses throughout Southern California.
A resident of Chula Vista, Albert enjoys life in the San Diego area with his wife and three children. He is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and stays closely involved with community and school programs.
Michele Lombardi
Operations Manager/Agent
Michele joined Jim Hill Insurance Group in 2022, bringing with her nearly three decades of experience as a second-generation insurance agency owner. Having worked on both the company and agency sides of the industry, she offers clients a unique perspective and a depth of expertise that make her an invaluable member of the team.
Her specialties include personal and small commercial insurance, but she also has a passion for insuring special events and assisting clients and attorneys with executor and administrator bond needs. Michele’s ability to carefully analyze policies ensures her clients receive the coverage that best fits their individual situations.
A longtime resident of the San Diego area, Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Outside of work, she loves traveling, playing games and cards, and unwinding with a good Netflix series. She also has a fondness for lighthearted competition, whether it’s bocce, billiards, or darts. Above all, Michele treasures time spent with family and friends.

Tom joined Jim Hill Insurance Group in 2017, bringing with him nearly four decades of experience in banking, salvage auto claims, and property, casualty, and life insurance. His wide-ranging background allows him to offer clients well-rounded expertise and practical solutions for a variety of insurance needs.

Jenn Oakley

Jenn has been a valued member of Jim Hill Insurance Group since 2001 and brings nearly two decades of experience as a licensed insurance agent. She is dedicated to building strong, long-term relationships with her clients and takes pride in helping them manage every aspect of their insurance policies with care and attention to detail.
Outside the office, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and their family, including three children. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she treasures the moments spent together.
Kris Read
Personal Lines Agent
Kris joined Jim Hill Insurance Group in 2021, bringing a strong background in administration and community involvement. Before transitioning into insurance, Kris spent 18 years with the local school system, serving in multiple roles — including Elementary Secretary and High School Volleyball Coach for more than a decade. This experience instilled in her a passion for helping others and being a true team player.
Now focused on growing her career in insurance, Kris is dedicated to developing her expertise and supporting clients with care and professionalism. She looks forward to building lasting relationships and continuing her commitment to service within the Chula Vista and San Diego communities.
Outside of work, Kris enjoys spending time with her husband, her three daughters, and her growing family. She loves being outdoors, soaking up the Southern California sunshine, and cherishing every moment as she prepares to become a first-time grandmother.
